Hi, I’m Brandon Benitez. I’m a Mexican American artist based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Thank you for browsing my website and getting acquainted with my work.

I grew up in Orange County, CA where I frequently visited Disneyland and swapmeets with my family. Although these two are very different vaults of collectibles, designs, and art, the exposure still seeps in my mind today. I am often encountering two major questions. How can we enter artwork? How can we consume it and take it with us? I consider my diverse approaches to art as a playful investigation into these questions.

I graduated from the Art of Academy of Cincinnati with a BFA majoring in Print Media. I love sculpting and illustration, but also write poetry and sometimes art-oriented essays.
